Silk Clinical Aesthetics is a cosmetic injectables and clinical skin treatments practice in Christchurch. Founded and led by registered nurse Shontelle Prasad, with a small team of specialists who deliver the rest of the work to the same standard.
02Our Story
The name came before the clinic. Silk is the initials of Shontelle’s four children, one letter each, woven into a single word. She put their initials on the door, and she built the clinic to be worthy of them.
Silk Clinical Aesthetics opened on a single belief: cosmetic treatments should be delivered by qualified healthcare professionals who take the time to understand you. Shontelle built the clinic so she could practise that way without compromise.
We are based in Christchurch Central. The clinic holds the only Volnewmer RF skin tightening device in the South Island, alongside the latest-generation Ultraformer MPT HIFU system. We invest in leading equipment because clients here deserve access to the same technologies available in major centres worldwide.
Cosmetic injectables at Silk are performed exclusively by registered nurses. Skin therapy and device sessions are delivered by experienced specialists who work alongside the cosmetic nurses, so every treatment fits a coherent plan rather than sitting in isolation.
